1 cup water
½ cup picante sauce
½ cup sliced green onions
1 ½ cups uncooked instant white rice
1 can (16% oz.) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
1 Tablespoon canned diced jalapeno peppers
½ teaspoon ground cumin
1 medium tomato, cut into wedges
Serves 6: Serving Size: 1 cup
Combine water, picante sauce and onions in 2 quart saucepan. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice, beans, peppers and cumin. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand for 10 minutes. Before serving, fluff rice with fork. Garnish with tomato.
